Komatsu PC1250SP-7 ready for the next big job

July 11, 2013

We recently refurbished the PC1250SP-7 in Christchurch ready for the next big job.

Perfectly sized for large civil or mining work PC1250/2 has clocked up 14,500hrs as part of the DHML fleet.

Bought new from Komatsu New Zealand in 2004 the excavator went to work at Stockton Mine as our primary coal winning machine.

During the 6 year contract PC1250/2 was used to excavate a large portion of the 12 million tonnes of coal carted to stockpile or ROM.

The coal extraction bucket is 9.5m3 and the standard rock bucket is 6.7m3.
