100 tonne dumptruck rejoins the fleet

The Doug Hood Mining dumptruck refurbishment programme is in full swing as Caterpillar dumptruck 777D No.14, which started work for the company at Stockton Mine ex. the UK, rejoins the mining fleet looking every bit as industrious as when it first reached the coast.
General Manager Kevin Davies said that the rigid dumptruck group comprising 22 machines was the backbone of the Doug Hood Mining large opencast mining fleet. He said the company’s refurbishment programme was underway in anticipation of active service within the next 12 months.
