Doug Hood workshop crew recognised for 3,000 days LTI free

June 29, 2017

We recently celebrated an important milestone with our Westport Workshop crew achieving 3,000 days free from lost time injury. Further they have remained free from any type of injury for over 1,500 days.

This is a significant milestone when the heavy engineering scope of their work is considered as they are responsible for keeping the majority of the civil and mining fleet mobile and their work includes maintenance, rebuilds, and fabrication both workshop-based and in-the-field.

Trophies were presented by Gavin Begg, DHML Plant Manager (far right) and Andrew Jaspersmith, DHML Operations Support Manager (far left), to (back row) Tom Cockfield, Wayne Nicol, Laurie Sullivan and Gavin Thompson, and (front row) Ash Oldham and Jacob Boshoff.
