Doug Hood Mining Ltd is a privately owned New Zealand based company specialising in mining & civil engineering works requiring significant use of heavy plant

In November 2011 we commenced a 3 year mining services project for Solid Energy at Reefton on the West Coast of the South Island.

The company completed 6 years (December 2003 to October 2009) as principal contractor at Stockton Mine, moving 25.5 million m3 of overburden and 9.1 million tonnes of coal utilising 3.6 million labour hours.

With a comprehensive & well maintained fleet at our disposal we seek to work with individuals and organisations to complete the development and management of suitable resources and projects. Read More
